Those series were not released. The entries below are shows with a studio, a broadcast window, and a public write-up.

CloverWorks adapted Yusei Matsui's manga. Season 1 aired from July to September 2024. A second season aired from July to October 2026. The story follows Hojo Tokiyuki, a boy who survives the fall of the Kamakura shogunate and spends the series running from Ashikaga Takauji. It streams on Crunchyroll. Wit Studio's new adaptation of Gosho Aoyama's manga aired from 5 April to 27 September 2025, 24 episodes. Viz Media licenses it. Ten episodes, 14 January to 17 March 2024, from Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab. The lead, Shizuma Origasa, is a former Aizu samurai working as a rickshaw puller in Tokyo while he looks for his fiancée. MyAnimeList lists Crunchyroll among the producers and tags the show Historical and Samurai. The broadcast announcement is the BS Shochiku Tokyu press release of 5 January 2024.
Liden Films made a second television adaptation of Nobuhiro Watsuki's manga, after the 1996-1998 series. Season 1 aired July to December 2023 on Fuji TV's Noitamina block, 24 episodes. The second season, Kyoto Disturbance, aired from October 2024 to March 2025. A third season has been announced. The dates are on the Wikipedia article. Kenshin is a former assassin in the early Meiji years, after samurai stopped being a legal class.

A ranked "top 10 of 2024-2025" would have required inventing titles. Six shows with dates and studios are the ones that hold up. Blue Eye Samurai is an American animated series, not a Japanese television anime, so it is not on this page.
